CCA Obesity with Associated Comorbidities Project
The comprehensive goal of the Care Continuum Alliance Obesity with Associated Comorbidities Project is to raise awareness and improve the population health management for obesity with comorbidities.
Project Objectives
- To evaluate and research current evidence-base, including clinical policies, guidelines and algorithms used to manage obesity with comorbidities.
- To disseminate information in order to raise awareness and share best practices for obesity with comorbidities management.
- To collaborate with key stakeholders on obesity with comorbidities management and facilitate partnerships for future projects.

- Collaborative literature review by the Care Continuum Alliance and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) of obesity assessment and management options for adults

- Included in CCA Obesity Toolkit (released September 2008)
- In-depth literature review by the Care Continuum Alliance and the Department of Health Policy of Jefferson Medical College on the evidence base for effectiveness of obesity management programs
